I first met Chip in the mid-1980s when I was booking Mississippi Nights.  If memory serves, he was the agent for Steve, Bob & Rich and made a trip to St. Louis just to say hi.  And even though he quickly rose way beyond the club level – Chip was always the same wonderful, gracious guy should I ever call his office or happen to run into him at an industry event.   Proud to have known him & this world is a much better place due to his presence!
